Viña del Mar Revolutionizes Healthcare: The Miraflores S.A.R. Project to Benefit Over 100,000 Residents

In a move that promises to transform the healthcare landscape of Viña del Mar, the Municipality and the Viña del Mar Quillota Petorca Health Service have announced the construction of the Miraflores Resolutive Assistance Service (S.A.R.). This innovative project aims to bolster the city’s emergency network and provide efficient and comprehensive care for complex medical cases.

Strengthening the Emergency Network

The primary objective of the Miraflores S.A.R. project is to fortify the communal emergency network and focus the demand for more complex cases. These cases will be transferred to the Emergency Unit of the Dr. Gustavo Fricke Hospital, ensuring that the most complex situations are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

Expanding Infrastructure and Investment

The project also includes the construction of 576 square meters of space along Avenida Padre Hurtado and Circunvalación. While the start of construction is yet to be determined, it is estimated that the work will commence in the third quarter of this year.

The Miraflores S.A.R. project boasts an investment of over $4 billion and will benefit more than 100,000 residents in the area, as confirmed by the Mayor of Viña del Mar, Macarena Ripamonti.
