Samsung Redefines Visual Experiences: 3 Groundbreaking Innovations Honored as ‘Best Inventions of 2025’

Noticias más leídas

In a remarkable achievement, Samsung Electronics has announced that three of its most advanced developments have been selected by the prestigious TIME magazine as part of their coveted «Best Inventions of 2025» list: Micro RGB, The Frame Pro, and The Premiere 5 (projector). This simultaneous recognition underscores Samsung’s unwavering commitment to redefining the visual experience across multiple fronts.

Pioneering Innovations

Micro RGB represents a radical technological leap in premium displays. It integrates individually controlled red, green, and blue LEDs, eliminating the need for conventional filters or backlighting. This breakthrough allows for purer color reproduction, higher brightness, and greater energy efficiency. Micro RGB also boasts 100% coverage of the BT.2020 standard and employs complementary technologies like Glare Free and real-time AI-powered processing.

«Micro RGB is a revolutionary advancement in premium visual technology; The Frame Pro redefines the role of the television in the home, while The Premiere 5 brings interactivity to the home cinema experience,» said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Division at Samsung Electronics.

Blending Technology and Aesthetics

The Frame Pro is designed to seamlessly integrate technology and aesthetics. When «turned off,» it transforms into an art frame that displays works of art in Art Mode. TIME recognized The Frame Pro for its ability to blend into any environment without visible cables, thanks to its Wireless One Connect Box that transmits signals wirelessly up to 30 feet away, eliminating the traditional clutter. This model features a Neo QLED 4K display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and other visual enhancements to ensure the television function does not compromise its artistic quality.

«With The Frame Pro, we aim to have technology complement design and everyday life; wireless innovation is key to achieving this,» said Lydia Cho, Head of Product, Home Entertainment, Samsung Electronics America.

Versatile Home Projection

The Premiere 5 is a 4K ultra-short-throw projector that can project images up to 100 inches from just 43 cm away, thanks to its triple-laser technology. TIME highlighted its versatility, not only for home cinema but also as a 40-inch interactive touchscreen display, useful for cooking, tasks, yoga, or presentations. It also incorporates 10W integrated speakers that deliver a cinematic sound experience for entertainment or gaming sessions. Samsung has also detailed the Touch Interaction functionality, which allows for direct interactivity with the projected image, enabled by integrated IR sensors and a camera.

The recognition by TIME, which included Micro RGB, The Frame Pro, and The Premiere 5 among the «Best Inventions of 2025,» underscores Samsung’s ability to lead in multiple fronts of visual innovation: from ultra-precise displays and art-technology hybrid televisions to interactive projectors that transform home spaces. This distinction reinforces the brand’s international visibility and consolidates the trust of consumers, media, and partners in the strength of its technological portfolio. These products are currently available in select markets, with plans for global expansion in the coming months.
