A Comprehensive Approach to Quantum Readiness

\n\n

Palo Alto Networks presents a holistic approach to help enterprises prepare for the challenges of quantum computing. As a first step, customers of Next-Generation Firewall and Secure Access Service Edge will be able to assess and manage their cryptographic risk through the new Quantum Readiness Dashboard. Additionally, for applications that are not yet compatible with quantum-resistant encryption, this release introduces the industry’s first encryption translation solution, instantly updating any application to be quantum-secure.

\n\n

Furthermore, the company is introducing 14 new fifth-generation Next-Generation Firewall models, designed with hardware optimized for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) processing, ensuring high-performance security and a future-ready investment.

Securing Dynamic Multi-Cloud and AI Environments

\n\n

Pete Finalle, Research Manager, Security and Trust Team at IDC, commented: «The growing urgency for quantum readiness, coupled with the proliferation of multi-cloud environments and rapid advancements in AI, has created a complex and fragmented security landscape for the modern enterprise. This has resulted in blind spots and inconsistent policies as organizations struggle to establish a resilient zero-trust architecture. Palo Alto Networks’ proactive management of quantum computing threats with cryptographic agility is a key differentiator. Additionally, the highly scalable software firewalls with complete deployment automation and native micro-segmentation address critical visibility and operational challenges in network security.»

\n\n

In the current multi-cloud and AI landscape, organizations need smarter and more agile security than ever before. Palo Alto Networks’ latest innovations respond to this need with a bold proposition to protect cloud networks. Their AI and Cloud Network Risk Assessment continuously analyzes each AI and cloud asset, detecting risks from inadequate or non-existent protection, and identifying the necessary security controls for optimal safeguarding.

\n\n

Once risks are identified, the software firewall, cloud firewall, and Prisma® AIRS™ instances are automatically deployed, configuring the entire cloud infrastructure to route traffic through a secure multi-cloud network mesh. The platform scales automatically based on demand, with native load balancing, eliminating the need for additional products and simplifying operations. This is the industry’s first network security platform capable of automatically detecting, deploying, and scaling security in evolving multi-cloud and AI environments.

Mehdi Lahrech, Senior Manager of Hybrid Cloud Networks at the National Basketball Association (NBA), stated: «Our goal is to deliver secure and high-performance digital experiences — from real-time game analytics to fan engagement — that build trust in our community. As we expand our multi-cloud infrastructure, we rely on Palo Alto Networks’ innovative platform to support this vision. With this latest update, we gain a unified platform that allows us to quickly scale services, protect critical digital assets, and stay ahead of evolving threats, making Palo Alto Networks our trusted partner for securing the future of basketball.»

\n\n

Scott Moser, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Sabre, added: «At Sabre, our vision is to power the global travel industry with innovative software and technology solutions, and we cannot afford to be distracted or slowed down by cyber threats. With the threat landscape constantly changing due to AI-powered attackers, complex global architectures, and the massive shifts brought by quantum computing, we need a cybersecurity partner with a strong vision and proven execution capability. This announcement is another milestone demonstrating why Palo Alto Networks is our preferred cybersecurity partner.»
